The MAC Posh Paradise Paint Pots Have Pigment to Spare - Makeup and Beauty Blog

Hark! Is that the herald angels singing or the sound of MAC Posh Paradise parading onto counters?

Huzzah! Huzzah! It'southward the 20-piece Posh Paradise collection, and it officially arrives in stores and counters tomorrow (if you can't wait, it is bachelor now online).

The release features 10 Mattene Lipsticks, two Smash Lacquers and 8 Paint Pots in luscious shades of ruby, pink, bluish, plum, orange, bronze and gold.

I'm particularly stoked near the Paint Pots, like these four (of viii) I've been putting through their paces for the by few days. 🙂

Nubile

I how this swell nude looks as a hat color and how information technology warmly brightens neutrals when they're layered on elevation. Not only is information technology a cakewalk to blend and apply, simply it also brightens up the dark areas below my eyes (boom you, indisposition!).

Imaginary

I call up this blackened navy looks just as great beneath shimmery black shadows every bit information technology looks on its own. For these pics I swept it on my lids with a MAC 217 domed castor (was going for a soft watercolor event). It'south quite a dark shade, though, and has been a tad tricky to employ.

Genuine Treasure

This dark brushed golden metal reminds me of antiquing and Victorian wrought iron piece of furniture. It'southward easy to overdo, specially when applying with a flat brush or fingers (looks heavy and thick). Buffing it in with a MAC 217 has so far yielded the all-time results — a soft wash of shimmery gold glitter. Très elegant.

Treasure Hunt

While I practice like this pearly yellow shimmer, it could have been called Patches, equally that's how it tends to apply (especially when used with a castor). Warm fingers help to smoothen out the colour.

Quest for Friday

Man, this calendar week is flight by! Not that I'm complaining. The sooner we go to Friday, the sooner I might be able to become to a movie with El Hub. Next on my to-watch listing: Don't Be Afraid of the Night.

The director, Guillermo del Toro, also directed one of my fave flicks of all time, Pan's Labyrinth (please, PLEASE tell me you've seen it).

I besides kindasorta want to see Harbinger Dogs…

Sure, the whole "couple in peril in the woods" thing has been done earlier, but it's stars Vampire Eric, so that's a plus.
